- Gem Lab Management System
From order intake to a certificate any buyer can verify
Laboratory software for colored stone and diamond testing: order tracking, gemologist data entry, report printing on paper or PVC, and online QR verification that protects your laboratory's name.
Software setup in about a day · Printer configuration included
A laboratory's reputation lives on a piece of paper it cannot control
Once a report leaves your laboratory it travels for years, through hands you will never meet. It gets photocopied, photographed, attached to listings, and occasionally forged. The only real defence is a report a stranger can check, instantly, against your own records.
GLMS gives every report a number and a QR code that resolves to your verification page. A buyer in another country scans it and sees what your gemologist actually concluded — species, variety, weight, dimensions, treatment, origin and comments.
- Online and QR verification for third-party authentication
- Permanent, searchable archive of every report you have issued
- Paper and PVC card printing, in GRS-style and GIA-style formats
- Colored stone identification, origin work and diamond grading
Everything between the counter and the certificate
Order intake
Register a job, capture the customer, the stones and the service level, and print a numbered job ticket with a barcode.
Order tracking
Retrieve any job by scanning its barcode or typing the order number — no searching through a day book.
Test entry
Preset data feeds for species, variety, treatment and comments, so routine reports take seconds and unusual ones take care.
QR verification
Every report carries a code that resolves to your online verification page, so any buyer can authenticate it.
Report printing
Paper and PVC formats, including GRS-style and GIA-style layouts, printed straight from the software.
Invoicing & receivables
Tax invoices, cash, card and credit, with credit customer accounts and ageing (V2).
Customers & loyalty
Trade, walk-in and jewelry shop customer types with Platinum, Gold and Silver discount tiers.
Service levels
Express, standard and economy testing with their own automated pricing matrices (V2).
Lab inventory
Purchasing, consumables and stock held at the laboratory, with supplier payments (V2).
Less time in the software, more time at the microscope
The fastest laboratory software is the one a gemologist barely notices. GLMS uses preset data feeds so routine conclusions are selected, not typed.
- Standard species, variety and treatment conclusions preset for one-click entry
- Common comments and origin phrasing stored as reusable text
- Orders retrieved by scanning the job barcode rather than searching
- Report numbering handled automatically, with no gaps or duplicates
- Unusual stones still get free-text entry where judgement matters
A laboratory is also a business
Reports are the craft; invoices, credit customers and service levels are what keep the doors open. V2 adds the whole commercial layer.
- Tax invoicing with cash, card and credit payment options
- Credit customer accounts with receivables tracking
- Customer types: trade, walk-in, jewelry shops, dealers
- Loyalty tiers — Platinum, Gold and Silver — with automatic discounts
- Multi-level service offerings with their own pricing matrices
- Purchasing and inventory for consumables and lab-held stock

Then go live
Your archive is searchable, your QR verification is public, and your reports carry it.
Before Nveloop our certificate numbers lived in three notebooks and one spreadsheet. Now a buyer in Dubai scans the QR code and the report comes up in a second. That alone changed how people treat our reports.
The part that convinced me was the memo screen. Every other system wanted me to pretend a consignment was a sale. Nveloop already knew what memo meant.
Can buyers verify our certificates online?
Yes — that is the point of the system. Every report carries a QR code and a report number. A buyer scans it or types the number into your verification page and sees the report as your laboratory issued it. It stops the two problems every lab has: forged reports circulating with your name on them, and buyers who cannot check a report they were handed six months ago.
Does it handle diamonds as well as colored stones?
Both. Report templates cover colored stone identification and origin work as well as diamond grading, and a lab testing both keeps them in one order queue and one numbering series.
What formats can we print?
Paper reports in several layouts, including GRS-style and GIA-style formats, and PVC card reports for small stones and trade work. Printer setup is part of onboarding.
How much time does a gemologist spend in the software?
As little as possible, deliberately. Preset data feeds mean a gemologist selects standard results rather than typing them — species, variety, treatment conclusions, common comments — so a routine report is a few clicks, and the unusual ones get the typing they deserve.
Can we set different prices for express and standard testing?
On V2, yes. Service levels carry their own pricing matrices by stone type and weight band, and credit customers can sit on Platinum, Gold or Silver loyalty tiers with automatic discounts applied at invoicing.
How long does setup take?
Software setup is roughly one day. Printer configuration — which is the fiddly part in any lab — usually takes two to three days. Training runs about two hours per user, with unlimited sessions.
